British Columbia Timberframe Homes

Garibaldi Highlands

This stunning timber frame home located in Squamish BC set out to capture the look and feel of a contemporary west coast residence, yet it was built with the age old craft of timberframing. The house feels like a tree fort with big open views that look out over the neighbouring homes to the lovely green spaces of this area. The home is an open concept yet L-shape which serves to share functional common space such as the kitchen, dining room and great room, but lends privacy for master bedroom and bath areas as well as creating separation for teenagers to have their own space too. Built in 2008 for a family of 4, the floor plan offers 3 bedrooms each with its own bathroom and the shed roof lines stretch to 12′ high in the great room. There is an open stair case that anchors a small art gallery area in the home just off the inviting timber frame entrance way.
